  • What is your availability?

    I take two birth and up to four postpartum clients per month. This allows me to devote my full attention to my client’s needs.

  • Do you have a backup system in place?

    I have multiple trusted contacts available as backups for all my births in case of an emergency. If a backup is needed, I try my best to ensure a meeting can take place before the birth if requested.

  • How can you approach my experience without personal bias?

    Every pregnancy and birth is unique. Each of my own were different in many ways. It is my mission to give each family the personal loving support they need. My personal opinions have no bearing on the information I give you. I am constantly learning to ensure you have the most up to date evidence to make your own decisions for your unique situation.

  • What kind of training did you have?

    I have completed trainings through these organizations:

    DONA International - Birth Doula trained. Currently working on certification

    Pro Doula – Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula

    Red Cross – CPR and AED certified

  • How will you react if I make a different decision than you would?

    What is most important to me is that you feel supported, safe, and in control of your own body and choices. I give you evidence based information to make your own decisions. What I may choose for myself will often be different than what you will choose. I will support you in whatever you decide. This is a judgment free zone.

  • How will you respect and support the relationship with my partner?

    Every family is unique with their own dynamics. During birth my first priority is the mother or birthing person. I will honor your wishes first and foremost. That includes honoring the relationship of anyone you choose to be at the birth. In serving my families postpartum, I am there to support the whole family. That will look different for everyone and your needs.

  • Do you have strategies for supporting all types of labor and birth?

    No two labors and birth are exactly the same. I have many resources for supporting all types of births. My tool bag is always expanding to support each circumstance.

  • Do you have a legal contract?

    I do have a legal contract to outline my services. This contract benefits both you and me.
